We are friendly Community focussed church whose theology is broadly evangelical and whose heart is for meeting people at their point of need.
We are situated in the centre of Arnold next to the market place.
Rev Claire Sutcliffe joined us in September 2025.
God Centred: moving always towards Him in all we do, to bring about His will in His church in the heart of the community, Arnold.
Relational: building relationships with God and each other, in our Sunday worship and during the week, in our small groups.
People Empowering: It is important that we empower each other to become the fulfilled human being whom God intends each of us to be, acknowledging and developing the gifts and talents he has given us.
Disciple Making: Jesus commanded us to “Go and make disciples”, and to tell others about the Good News of Jesus. A good place to learn more about becoming a follower of Jesus, a disciple, is in our small groups.
Missional: At Arnold Methodist Church, we are God’s representatives in the community of Arnold. You are welcome to be with us within Arnold Methodist Church at any of our activities and services. A few of them are described below. Tuesday Coffee, Saturday Coffee and Holiday from Home. Contact us through this website.
Beyond our own buildings, you will find us in the community, often with Arnold Churches Together at Food Bank.
Prayer is our life line of communication to God, personally or together with others. Followers of Jesus pray in services of worship and in our small groups. We have a prayer ministry team and a telephone text prayer request line. Prayer is for all. Please ask.
